Error On Upgrade From SPPB 3.8.9 To 4

Hello,

I'm presently using SPPB 3.8.9 on a site for which I baught a template. Version 3 came with it. I have a version 4 Pro license and would like to upgrade but when I try, i get this error:

Warning JInstaller: :Install: Error SQL Duplicate column name 'catid'

What should I do ?

Hi there!

Sorry for your experience.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Make backup of Joomla database (use Akeeba Backup or hosting panel)
  2. Uninstall SP Page Builder component (each and every instances of it)
  3. Download the last version of SP Page Builder from our site and
  4. Install component from Joomla admin installer

Hello,

After uninstalling SPPB I get a blank screen when trying to reach the backend.

What should I do ?
