Loading Templates That Look Like The Preview With Sample Data - NOT WIH QUICKSTART PACKAGE

I need to know how this can best be done, NOT that it can't be done we need to work through a process to get teh best case scenario - I have entrusted in your component and you have boasted JSON duplications, and the ability to quickly upload templates and use existing design pages but we have yet to be able to implement these features, which is why I invested on the first place.

Our scenario, we use shared databases in a Master, to slave sites setup using MightSites Component :https://alterbrains.com/joomla-extensions/administration/multisites-manager

Hence we load a Master Site and then Enter the Slave Sites, what has been happening is that we have been loading your Quickstart packages to get a starting point for one of our Master sites, but the templates for the Slave Sites cannot be the same, and they don't have to be via Mightysites.

WHAT WE ARE TRYING TO ACHIEVE is to load one of your templates into a slave site ( NOT A QUICKSTART PACKAGE As the joomla is already installed) We would need the uploaded template to a slave site and have it look and function the same as your template preview, For Example : www.communitycontractors.ca is a MASTER SITE and a Slave site would be www.GenExperts.ca and I would like to load this Template and have it function the same and have the sample data of this template for Example : https://www.joomshaper.com/joomla-templates/konstra

NOTE if JSON files and Page templates should be able to be duplicated is their not an efficeint way to load a sample template like described, we need to find a consistent soluiton for this please.

I have included Marius in this correspondence who is an Expert developer with CMS Junkie, so please lets discuss

Also I would like to ask how I can add Marius to all the correspondence please

I have similar need I just wanted to install the templates on existing site. I tried several of them and none of then (after installation) have any of the assets installed, so the preview looked as plain as it gets. I also tried several Quicstart templates and even those after installation did not have any assets (like the demo/preview) sites. I do not know hwat is going on here but this seems to be a big, big mess.

I can see the this company is overwhelmed by the amount of issues, bugs and requests, but what I also see is that the development and design has issues with priority. Instead of adding new features I would like JoomShaper to concentrate on fixing tons and tons of existing bugs. HELIX template as priority, then SPPB, then Templates and Extensions.

It think that is correct order. I have installed 5 different extensions on J4.3 and not one of them worked or behaved as expexted.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE of posting demo pages with the extensions or templates if after installation none of them look like on company preview page ???

I noticed I can install basic templates and designs directly from SPPB editor but this seems like kinda workaround, not as expected functionality.

I keep having tons of issues with Helix and this is in my opinion the weakest point of entire Joomshaper products.

I have had to consult with another Joomls Development company, they are supporting your product better than you are supporting it, at least in this case : This is how we think this should be done to resolve it

  1. I created a subdomain site called https://templates.communitycontractors.ca/ This is going to be the site that you load the desired template, fully configured with proper components as per the demos on Joomshaper site : https://www.joomshaper.com/joomla-templates

  2. Once these templates are configured, you will be able to download a JSON file ( a copy of the design) from the template site and then upload that to your slave sites.

  3. Its important that the slave site has the correct components that match the template preview, but these should already be in the Quickstart file.

  4. You may want to load the quickstart files to their own hosted location and and download teh JSON from there

The advertise this on thier website and even have videos on this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuaIEuUYckw

These should have the JSON files available already straight from their existing templates.

Let me know of you need more help, I would like to know what the Joomshaper team thinks of this

Hello Christopher J. Parkinson

If you want to take the demo pages, then please do the followings:

  1. Install the quickstart on your localhost or any staging server.
  2. Then export the SPPB pages.
  3. Then import on your slave site.
  4. Also, copy the images from the quickstart and past on your slave site.

There is no other options. If you want to take the template settings, then go to the quickstart Template Options -> Advanced and export the JSON file of the settings. Then import it on your slave site template.

Best regards
