Upgrade Hope Template

Hi Team,

I have Joomla 3 Website with Hope template V1.5 and custom. css file. see https://www.fliegenpilz-ev.de/

To Upgrade to J4: Can I just update the template still on J3 level to Hope V 2.0 ? and then I do the Joomla Core Upgrade?
