Modify "Articles Scroller Addon" Date

Is there any possibilits to modify "Articles Scroller Addon" Date. I want to use this addon as a simple event information board. The displayed date is the posting date and this can not be changed. For exemple the creation date would be good to display, because this can be choosen

Article Scroller addon uses Publishing Date to show. You can change the date in the article settings and it will be updated on the addon.
This is the normal behavior of the addon. But if you use Flex or any other third-party template (not from us), the addon might not work the same. Because the template developer overrode the addon view.

Accepted AnswerHello Ofi Khan, This is exactly the problem. The date of the events are alway in the future and not on the publishing date. For that reason the date from the Start Featured field should be visible in the articles sroller addon. Is there a possibility to change this minor change in the code?

Accepted AnswerPlease go to this location:
templates/template_name/sppagebuilder/addons/articles_scroller
and replace site.php file with the attached file. You need to unzip the file and then replace.
If you do not find this file directory, then create it. Then Article Scroller will show created date instead of publishing date.
