SP Page Builder 5.0 does Not Save Imported Template

Hi
I am testing SP Page Builder 5.0 on my development site. I exported a page from an existing website and imported the JSON template into SP Page Builder 5.0. I clicked on [Save] and the page displays correct on the front-end. However, after I closed the back-end editor and returned to it later, everything was gone. I repeated the process several times, but the back-end page editor loses everything.
Is there any setting that I missed perhaps?

From which environment you are exporting the SPPB page, please? Let me know the version of SPPB of the both sites.
Notice! You can reuse exported pages also on different websites, but you have to be sure that it contains the same list of addons and image structure. If not, part of the content may not work. Exported .json file does not contain any addon code inside, only layout and page settings. Also, you need to have the same images stored in the new destination to get the visuals.
