Slideshow - Contents From A Slider Item Into A Container

Within a full width slideshow is it possible to add a container to a slider item?
I have my contents within each of my slider items - header, text and button. I would that all of that content to be within 1 container with the ability to set the background color.
So the view for each Slider Item would be background image, small container on top, header, text and button within the container.
