Hi. In order to do something that you want, you need to understand the layout.

The Menu position (red) is a wrapper and it occupies all the width, as you set it up (12 cols).

Inside, two elements are contained - the menu (green) and offcanvas button (white). They occupy the width based on the content contained in them.
