In any page builder, it is necessary to follow the balance between features and performance. Sophisticated interfaces with a large number of settings are difficult to work and load the site. Not every hosting can withstand such a load. It is easier to use CSS. Any webmaster released by the level of CMS systems should have knowledge of HTML / CSS. For all who have not yet recognized this, there are online constructors and programs such as MUSE (which faded badly in view of performance problems).
Personally, I am against adding these settings. And I think the team for the same reasons does not add them. CMS with the Page Builder on board is not the same as the online service or program. And it should be accessible to everyone, and not just for those who can afford a dedicated server.
Any of the existing addon can be easily redefined with your own features. But practice shows that all third-party addons for SP PB, which have advanced settings, are buggy and inhibit due to the large number of these settings.
