Sp Image Gallery - Cannot Create Album As Featured Image Will Not Upload

I am trying to create an album in SP Image Gallery. When I try to save the album it says, "must have featured image". When I try to upload an image to featured image it doesn't upload. I've tried different sizes, reinstalled the component, no joy.

Apology for the delay. I am checking your issue. Have you tested it on your localhost or other hosting? Does it work there?

I just went in and checked the login again. It works for me. Are you sure you are looking at the hidden content on this thread that has the login to the backend? I will copy paste it again
