Max. 8 Columns In A Row

I have a row with three columns. Each of these columns contains an image. I duplicate each of these images so that I have the same settings. After duplicating 8 times, it tells me that I can only add 8 columns. Why can I only insert a maximum of 8 columns in one row?

Instead of this...

...use that in existing row... or

or the same Custom cols set field (istead of ready made cols sets) when adding new row.

Then copy/paste addons to the cols

Hi Ursula,

 1. I don't know why that limit was set (if there is any), but it was for a reason.
 2. Create a new Row below, reduce paddings between Rows, and nobody will see a difference.

Thank you for the answer. I realize that there will be a reason for this. That is why my request. It is not clear to me why there are exactly 8 columns and not 12. I have already done that with the new row.

Hi. I'm not sure what limitation you are talking about. Perhaps you first need to create a set of columns with any configuration you want.

I have inserted a row with three columns. Each column is filled with an image and then duplicated. With 8 duplicated columns, the message is then displayed that you cannot insert more than 8 columns. !

But in general I don't see any reason to have so many columns, HTML code after would be HUGE (!).

It's better, in most cases, just make 1 basic grid and just add addons below in each column.

of course everyone does what they think is right ;)

Thanks @Pavel, as always
