I have issues with the advanced slideshow, when it is enabled it gives the folowing error in the frontend: Call to undefined method Joomla\CMS\Application\SiteApplication::isSite()

or HTTP 500 Whoops, looks like something went wrong. json_decode(): Argument #1 ($json) must be of type string, stdClass given

Tried with differernt templates, even the J4 standard and still the same issue.

SPPB version: 5.1.3 Joomla: 4.3.4

Hi there!

Sorry for your issue.

It seems you are using the finion template there, and the advace slideshow is a special addon only available within finion quickstart pack.

Which PHP version you are using there, please? Kindly check with PHP 7.4 and let us know.

I upgraded the website to J4 and also installed template finion because I used the older finatic template before. php version is 8.1

The finion template is not compatible with the PHP 8 yet, sorry about that. Would you please check with PHP 7.4 and let us know?
