Scrolling To Heading Or Section

Hi I have quite a long page. I want to put some links on top of the page to scroll to that section after clicking that link.
I assume working with anchors or Section ID's make this possible?
Anyone to put me in the right direction please?

Accepted AnswerGot it! Scroling goes also smooth.
ID the section > Link addon to the section ID including #
( e.g, section ID="testing", link the addon to:"#testing")
