Is there a way I could see if there is any error somewhere that pops up which would block this download ? There is one layout I really would like to use. Thank you for your help.

I think there is a misunderstanding. We actually have two types of templates:

1. Primary templates
2. Page Templates/Layout bundles

Primary templates are available to download, but page templates are free with SP Page Builder Pro, can be found within the layout section of the SP Page Builder editor panel, and, are only available to export/import.

If you have downloaded and installed the SP Page Builder, then please go to the frontend editor of it and find it under Layout. Here is the supporting documentation: https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/sp-page-builder-4/layouts
