Copy Joomla Article With 'Page Builder Joomla Article Integration' Content

Hello,
I'm wondering how to copy an existing Joomla article that has been created with Page Builder Joomla article content.
If I copy an existing Joomla article (with SP PB integration content) and choose SP Page Builder instead of Joomla editor, I end up with a clean sheet.
It seems like the data that the Page Builder Joomla article add-on creates isn't 'hard-linked' to the Joomla article to wich it applies. So if the Joomla article gets copied, the Page Builder Joomla article integration content needs to be recreated. Or exported first and imported later. Am I correct that this is the procedure which the programmers had in mind?
In the past I could easily create an article with SP PB functionality, copy the Joomla article and edit the SP PB add-ons. Not anymore.
If I ask this question in the resources section the output generates this advise: screenshot. I have no clue what is meant by the last sentense.

I appreciate you reaching out. I sincerely apologize for this oversight. If you want to re-use your article content which is made by the Page Builder then you have to export the JSON file of the article (page builder). Then you have to import it to your new article.
Or exported first and imported later. Am I correct that this is the procedure which the programmers had in mind?
