When I select SP Pagebuilder on the dashboard and it shows a list of every page. In the past from here if I pressed the green '+ New' button on the top left a new page would be created and the edit screen for that new page would show on screen. Now I cannot create a new page because when I press that "+ New" button an editor opens but if I edit and try to save the page, nothing is added to the list and the page does not exist. How do I create a new page?

the default template is Shaper_helix3 that has been customized
and the PHP version is 7.3.27

I emailed the web host to lower the PHP version but he has not done it yet. I will let you know here if that fixes the issue when he does that.

There are many things to check while troubleshooting!
However, please disable the rocket loader from your cloudflare service and disable the mod_security from your hosting server.

Unfortunately, the solution you gave did not work and the error when creating pages still exists. What else can I try?

Also, make sure that your database pagebuilder id is auto_increament.

There are no error messages in the console when I make a new page in SP Pagebuilder, the new page just does not save.
I will try setting the database pagebuilder id to auto_increament and tell you if that fixes the issue.

A new piece of information: When I tried to run updates on my site (one of which was for SP Pagebuilder) there was an error

Thanks for this additional information.
It's not an issue actually, sometimes it is not getting automatically connection to the server.
You can manually download the updated vertion and install it through the Extensions>Manage>Install.

thanks. I installed the updates successfully and also changed the database pagebuilder id to auto increment but neither of those worked. What is something else that may fix this issue?

It is really tough to find out any issue on the fly as you can understand!
There are so many things that need to asses while we try to find an issue.
You might agree with me that same issue can be caused by various reasons.
So, without troubleshooting deeply, I can not predict more.
