Error When Trying To Upgrade SP PB 3 To SP PB 5.2.3

I tried to upgrade SP PB 3.8.10 to SP PB 5.2.3. But after doing this, the startpage shows the following error message:

"You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near ') ORDER BY lft ASC' at line 3"

Trying to call the startpage "startseite" from backend-editor to frontend-editor, it shows the following error message:

"Sorry, there was a problem we could not recover from. The server returned a "500 - Whoops, looks like something went wrong.""

But: If I try to edit any other page with the frontend-editor, there is no problem and it seems to work fine. so the problem seems to happen only with the startpage.

My next step: I downgraded back to SP PB 3.8.10, and there was no problem any more. Trying again to install SP PB 5.2.3, the problem with the startpage comes back. So finally I had to downgrade again.

I run Joomla 4.4.1, the PHP-Version is 8.1.26. The database version is: 10.5.19-MariaDB-1:10.5.19+maria~deb10-log

How can I solve the problem and install the purchased SP PB 5.2.3?

Thank you for your help.

Sorry, but now it is worse than before: Now, when calling the website, the startpage shows this error message:

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near ') ORDER BY lft ASC' at line 3

Please change quick back to funktionally mode!

Please increase the memory limit from your hosting server & provide me the FTP access.

Error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 6142896 bytes)

Hello Toufiq,

there are two problems and still remains one:

The first problem I could resolve. I rebuilt the startpage by the saved sections. So I could detect, that there was a fault in the article add-on. I deleted this add-on from JB3 and replaced it by the article addon from JB5.

The second problem with the memory limit still exists. We changed the values on the hosting server, but Joomla only recognizes the new values in the "Master Value", not in the "Local Value".

As result of this, I can only use PB 5 in the backend editor. If I want to modify a page with the frontend editor, the error message respect of the memory size appears.

Do you have any idea?
