Newsfeed Parse Error

Hi

I and am getting the folllowing error on all my newsfeeds

0 String could not be parsed as XML

I have turned on debug, you can see the issue https://www.dorset-aptc.gov.uk/members/nhs-dorset

The feed link I am using is https://nhsdorset.nhs.uk/feed/

The site is using

  • Joomla 4.4.1
  • Helixultimate 2.0.18

I have asked in the Joomla forum and they tell me it is not a Joomla error and possibly a template error. Can anyone help me to resolve this please?

Hi Alison,

but Helix Template do not overrides newsfeeds component, and never did.

Anyway, I will try to look and maybe suggest something.

I checked and you have exactly the same errors on Casiopea template. It means it's Joomla Core problem Or you used wrong URL for feed source (!?) Search for alternative extension, or ask again on forum.joomla.org.

Try to use Feed module first, to test if all used links are 100% correct. Some websites locks reading-displaying feeds on external sites to protect their SEO. I do that same in my blog site.
