Hi, I have encountered a problem I am unable to fix.

I installed a quickstart and then I duplicated anything, so I don´t know where the problem is.

in the blog category layout, You can see that intro articles images are distorted, they seem squashed horizontally, can you please take a look?

Hi, would you please send a screencapture, cause in every browser on my pc pics are distorted.

this is how pics are shown in category blog

and this is the original image appearing in the article

I think something is happening here, don´t you?. The woman who´s standing seems much more slimmer in the first pic....

Come on, are you kidding?

you are showing an article inside eyewear section, just click this link

https://www.opticos-optometristas.com/eyewear.html

What I mean is that if you enter a category by clicking it in the menu, for example the link I have sent you above, you can see the 3 intro articles in a box in a kind of slider, where one at a time shows its own image, this image is what I am talking about, I am sending you a screen again, please pay atention to my explanations, I don´t think is dificult.

thank you

Use this custom CSS in your custom.css file

.layout-blog .blog .items-leading .carousel .carousel-inner .newskit-item-wrap .intro-image {
    width: 300px !important;
}

Hi Mehtaz, first things first, Happy New Year!!!!

second, thanks for your answer.

I have made the change you suggested, that didn´t make any changes, in fact custom.css was not called by the page; I realized that the original code says .layout-blog .blog .items-leading .carousel .carousel-inner .newskit-item-wrap .intro-image > a img { width: 300px !important; }

so I added the > a img, that did the page to load the custom.css styleshit, though it made no chages at all.

I have been taken a more deep look and realized that

the active item is loading the large version of the image, as well as after leading articles do, but in your demo, the leading article uses the thumbnail version of the image, even though after leading articles use large version.If I don´t explain myself correctly, sorry for that, I have taken a couple of screen captures for you to see.

I don´t know if this could work as a clue. I hope you can find where the problem is.

thank you again

no, it is not, the image is squashed, if you enter the article, you can see the original image.

What about I said earlier, the thumbnail and large image, do you think it is correct? I think that is taking part in the problem, don´t you?

I think the images are looking ok, if you need it more correct you can then use custom CSS for that. This blog will help you

Yes, maybe the image size has an issue. You can set a fixed image size and then upload it.

it is not an image size issue, tje system resizes them all correctly, it is the code, wich is calling the wrong one.
