Joomla Update Error

Hello,
I just installed the Thermis template (qucikstart) and the update for the new joomla version is not working.
An error has occurred. 0 Attempt to assign property "last_check_timestamp" on null
Can you please check

why do you think that it could be working now? The live page was/is still working, but it is not possible to do an update of joomla.

I know that the page is loading, that was not the problem.
It's a new installation via the quick start package and I can not update the joomla version.
