Error When Trying To Set Joomla Update Channel To "Joomla Next".

Like the subject says, while being in J4 and trying to set the Joomla update channel to "Joomla Next", following error is displayed after clicking save:

PlgSystemHelixultimate::onExtensionBeforeSave(): Argument #1 ($event) must be of type Joomla\CMS\Event\Model\BeforeSaveEvent, string given, called in /home/.../public_html/libraries/src/Plugin/CMSPlugin.php on line 289

And the setting is not saved.

Using latest version (2.2.4)

Thanks in advance for a fix!

Hello Martin,

Sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing. We've identified the issue in Joomla 4 and are preparing a fixed version for release soon.

In the meantime, you can apply an immediate fix by replacing the

JRoot/plugins/system/helixultimate/helixultimate.php file with the attached file.

helixultimate.php.zip

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Best regards

Just FYI, this happens also when trying to save a module (any type). So it's a very critical issue!
