Issue With PHP Compatibility In Gazette Template

I recently installed the Gazette template and observed that it does not support PHP versions 8.0 and above. As I intend to work on this website in the long term, I'm curious to know if there are any plans for an update that will ensure compatibility with PHP 8.0 and newer versions.

Thank you for the prompt response. I understand that the team is working on updating the templates, including Gazette, and I am willing to wait. However, I'm inquiring due to a message from the Joomla system recommending an upgrade of the PHP version to 8.1 or newer by 2024-11-25.
I just want to ensure that I won't encounter any issues using your Gazette template. I'm not in a hurry; I simply seek confirmation that the update will be completed by that date.
