Make a simple test: publish that module using template module position first to be sure that it "still" works.

If No - ask module developer for supprt. Maybe it doesn't work with JS compression enabled (popular issue) - that one you can check alone.

Sorry, but we are not that module developer (Olivier Buisard) to investigate and fix it for free.

I know it works, because I previously set up a Joomla article with the modules inserted into the body of the text via shortcodes.

To further test this, I added a different types of module, and they don't show up either. So, it's not limited to Trombinoscope modules.

You are using Advanced Module Manager - so maybe it's settings cause that problem.

I will use Joomla native module for testing purpose, and let you know.

My test results with Custom type module "TEST module":

1. It worked in template module position
2. It worked inside Page (SPPB) inside Module addon
3. It worked in Article put as shortcode

So my research ends here. Now is your turn to dig.

All this is telling me is that only the Custom module now works in Pagebuilder layouts.

I have existing PB layouts I've imported via JSON files from the J3 site that work fine that are broken in J4 if they include modules other than Custom modules.

Is this the best we can do here?

No, it would be ridiculous, it certainly works all the Joomla Core modules, RSForms, Convert Form, and 20 more that I often use. Nobody tested 200+ modules that are for Joomla itself.

I set up a test SPPB page and inserted four different types of modules on the page --

• Joomla menu module,
• Joomla Articles-Category module
• DOCman module
• Joomla Custom module

Every module is set to show on all pages.

I created a menu item that points to that page.

Only the Custom module appears.

I see "mod-articles-category" on that page, not custom module.

Do you really work for Joomshaper? This has to be the worst customer support response I have ever received, espeically since I am a subscriber to this extension.

That's a custom module. Do I need to give you backend access?

I am not sure if you know, but .json include only layout + settings, not extra modules itself. So I have to use my own modules anyway.
