Class "JEventDispatcher" Not Found

I am currently using shaper_wayne_corp as a template and am having 2 problems, 1 major.
I can no longer edit articles. As soon as I go to edit in the backend, the content from SP disapears. Also, when someone is viewing block posts and clicks to search something, I get the following error:
Class "JEventDispatcher" not found
Any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it? This was working previously. Also, if there is not a fix, is there a simple way to hide the search box from the page as it does not appear to be a module.

Did you change something recently, please? All up to date?
If you are talking about this: https://prnt.sc/28SZM96p6r_b then yes, it's a module.
Can you try disabling the 'Search' module, and create and enable the 'Smart Search' module in the same position. This should fix your issue, I hope.

Accepted AnswerI was able to unpublish the module, but smart search did not work. Why is the module for searching articles no longer working on the template?
