Moreover, yes, while upgrading from lite to pro it is recommended to not uninstall the existing version. But as the error comes up while you tried to install, hence complete uninstll and reinstall should help in this case. Hoe it is a bit clearer now.

    PS the upgrade was from PRO version to PRO version ... not from Lite version...

Sorry for the delayed response.

I have just checked your backend, and you are using the Flex template, which is based on Helix3 framework but not from us. At the same time you have installed the Helix Ultimate Framework also. Using these two framework together is not recommended as they can cause conflict. So kindly remove one framework complitely from your site. In this case, as you are using the flex template then you need to remove each and every instances of the Helix Ultimate framework.

Please make sure your template and other extensions are PHP 8.2 compatible. Otherwise check with lower PHP version.

Thanks for the reply, but I only added the Helix Ultimate framework after encountering the same issues in hopes of being able to fix it

The installation of extensions in Joomla is independent of the template used (it is possible to change the template at any time), in fact the problem is not the response of the template once SPPB has been installed, but the installation of SPPB itself which fails, crashing the entire Joomla installation and consequently the site. .. The previous installation of SPPB is also independent of the template used and it must be possible to remove it from the system.

Finally, I would like to point out that the error message during installation occurs due to a duplicate column in the database relating to the tables used by SPPB and in particular the "catid" column of the "myprefix_sppagebuilder" table... so it has nothing to do with the FLEX template.

I welcome your advice and help...
