The issue:

I have a form extension by Joomlashack that provides a really cool floating sidebar expand-in contact form. It works great, with the exception of a GDPR checkbox that is supposed to allow the user to pop out GDPR terms in a shadow-box. Clicking on the terms link simply freezes the whole page. You can view the form by expanding it from the right side at https://www.certifiedinfosec.com/event-calendar/find-events. Here's another form as an in-line module on the page itself: https://www.certifiedinfosec.com/event-calendar/have-a-group-to-train/request-a-quote-for-a-discounted-private-engagement. The form works fine on non-Helix Ultimate pages like https://www.certifiedinfosec.com/estore.

I know troublshooting 3rd party extensions is beyond the scope of support, but the developer has given up and won't fix the issue after a month of wait (they say Helix Ultimate is too complex for them to troubleshoot). This is the next logical place to ask since the developer won't help. I appreciate any throughts you can share.

Any ideas on the fix?

Alternatively, I'm open to considering a new side-panel floating form if you know of one. What a shame, because the form is gorgeous otherwise.
