Front-end Down Due To SP Page Builder After Migrating To J4

SP Page Builder 1 year ago

Hi! This is the second time I post this on this forum. First time I did it privately, 24 hours ago. Got no answer. Also got no support by e-mail. And no support from chat. Both chat and email answers were exactly the same, like a robot or so, and directed me to the support forum. Since it's been over 24 hours since SP Page Builder latest version brought down my dev site, I am trying to reach for your support again. Let's try. I have the latest 5.2.7 version of SP Page Builder PRO and I managed to upgrade to J4 successfully but my front-end is down and throwing messages that say something is wrong with SP Page Builder PRO. Please check it out directly at our dev site: https://devs.acianf.com.br and you will see all the many error messages thrown. Tks for any help you can provide on your own product under an active paid subscription Luiz

Hello Luiz Guilherme Mendonça

Apology for the inconvenience. It looks like you are using a third-party template. Please remove or rename sppagebuilder folder from templates/template_name/ and then check your issue. This will remove the addon overrides from the template and the addons will load from SP Page Builder.

Best regards

Hi! That's not the issue. I did that but to no avail. Current template on front-end is J-Network. And I renamed the folder you mentioned, but that did not solve the issue. The error messages refer to Helix Ultimate Framework and Helix3Framework - all by Joomshaper. But there's of course no tempates with those names. There are 2 active plugins under those names. Deactivating them just bring forward other error messages. Please check more carefully. Best regards Luiz

Apology for the inconvenience. Please share your administrator access here to check the issue. Use the Hidden Content box to share the credentials. Make sure that you have a full site backup with you before sharing.

I have helped you but it was actually your template issue. Not Helix Ultimate issue. Next time, please contact your template provider for these type of issues.

Please accept the answer that helped you. It will be then easier to find the solution for the other users with the same issue. There is a button to accept answer after each comment.

I have a humble request too. It would be very kind of you if you can manage some moment to give us feedback on

  1. Joomla Extension Directory
  2. TrustPilot

This will inspire us to improve.

Hi! Many thanks! But I really need to know what exactly you did to solve the issue. Not only because I will have to do it again when I update our production website, but also because this development website (devs.acianf.com.br) has an error probably related to those changes. Please check both websites to see the error on devs.acianf.com.br (development site) when compared to acianf.com.br (production site). Best regards!

On this file:

https://prnt.sc/tB3swmcPa_E3

Then find out the line $menu->params and replace by $menu->getParams()
