How To Control Product Images Order?

Hello,
I want to add a leading product image and then some options like color variants with their own images. This is working fine but the problem is that the images in the gallery below the main product thumbnail are in reverse order. The first image is the image of the first color option instead of the main image followed by the rest color options and then there is my leading image. This is confusing because in the product list page there are the main images but when you open a product the image is not the same as it was on the previous page. It is essential for the UX the website to have consistency but with the current finctionality of EasyStore this is not possible.

It seems that you don't have any images in the Variants settings. Try to add some images there and test it again. You will see that the EasyStore displays the variants images first and then the other images. This is what I want to override.

Here you can see which image is set to be the leading one:

But as you can see here it is not the leading image:

And this is because EasyStore gives priority to the image variants:

Although the sellected leading image is properly shown in the product list page:

But when you open the product the leading image is different which is very confusing for the customers. This is wrong and should not happen.
