I have Problems Installing Joomshaper Quick Start On A Xampp Localhost.

I have problems installing Joomshaper Quick Start on a Xampp localhost. I have PHP 8.1.25. When I install normally I get the following error message "Error The installation process failed." I tried to install Templates Gourmand I have followed yours tutorials, and I have installed several joomla sites on the same Xampp installation without problems. Is there a solution to this problem.

I have been fighting all day with this issue, and although in the end I have not found the solution, I have found a workaround with which we can complete the installation without errors.

Apparently this error only occurs when using XAMPP in Windows environment.

Before starting the installation process, you have to edit the “php.ini” file and set the following value “display_errors = Off”. Then restart the Apache server and you can start the installation. Once the installation is completed, you can reset the parameter as it was and restart the Apache server again.

@JoomShaper Team: Please include this workaround in the documentation of the HelixUltimate (and probably many of the templates) installation process, as I've seen it recurring for years now, and I hope this hint can help you figure out where the problem is.

Hello,

I tried both with the version that comes installed in the latest version of XAMPP, which is 10.4.32 of MariaDB, and with previous versions of XAMPP from between 1 and 2 years ago (I do not remember the versions of MariaDB from that one, but I would say they were 10.2.x), as well as with the version 10.6.17 updated by myself.

I also tried with different PHP versions, such as 7.4.27, 8.1.2, 8.2.12 or 8.3.6.

But well, as I said you can easily reproduce the error by downloading the latest version of XAMPP for Windows, adjust the php.ini parameters to meet the requirements of Helix Ultimate and the installation will fail. Then, if you try to do a new installation by disabling the “display_errors” parameter the installation completes without errors, obviously as a previous step you have to recreate again the database and copy again the original HelixUltimate files in the htdocs/xxxxxx folder.

At this moment I already have it fixed in my development environment, but if you can't reproduce the error, I can try to prepare a VM for tomorrow or another day with an empty setup.

Ok, tomorrow I will tell you something because it is a bank holiday here and I don't know exactly what I am going to do, but if I can connect it will be around 12:00 (Spain time), which I think is 4 hours less than in Bangladesh.
