Google Fonts API In Helix Ultimate 2.0.18 Gives Error

Hi, inserting our Web Fonts Developer API -key from Google Cloud Console into the Helix Ultimate settings (Advanced -> Font Settings -> Goolge Fonts API) gives the following error message:

"Method doesn't allow unregistered callers (callers without established identity). Please use API Key or other form of API consumer identity to call this API."

This key has worked well on our previous website, and is restricted to the website(s) in question. We have also tried with creating new API credentials, does not help.

Hi,

Ignore that problem on localhost, and use NEW file from: https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/helix-framework/troubleshooting-faq#missing-webfonts-json-file

It contain current Google Fonts list from March 2024. And you don't need to be worry about missing font etc. Just override the file.

Remember about GDPR in EU (Germany, Austria) - Google Fonts are on "the black list".
