Shaper Theme Layout Override Problem

Hi,

I have a question regarding overrides in Shaper plain template. As I understand, layout overrides must go to "/templates/shaper_helixultimate/overrides" folder not to get overwritten by template updates.

I have an aricle layout overide here: /shaper_helixultimate/overrides/com_content/article/default.php which works fine.

But for a module I have an override here: /shaper_helixultimate/overrides/mod_articles_category/default_items.php which does not work.

Same override in: /shaper_helixultimate/html/mod_articles_category/default_items.php works fine.

Am I missing something as com_content overrides work fine in template "overrides" folder, but module overrides do not?

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this oversight. The override directory works when you have use the helix ultimate plugin system override file. Maybe, you have changed the file name (https://prnt.sc/lDAciXohUREF).

Thank you for your answer!

In my case I needed to override "mod_articles_category" which is not initially included in template's "html" folder.

So if I understand you correct, if this module is not included in template's html folder, it will not be searched in the "overrides" folder.

And in my case I shoud just add the "mod_articles_category/default_items.php" in the "html" folder.

Only downside I can see is if you should include this module in the template overrides in the future, it may get overriden then. But that's probably not a big worry right now.

Will you please provide me the Joomla administrator access to check the issue?
