By default Joomla use there TinyMCE (like in articles), but you can install JCE Editor that have more useful features, and better UX.

Both TinyMCE and JCE are not ours! Also, instructions for their use are on the developer's sites.

I wanted to know how I can paste a picture here in the forum Editor. If I klick on the image attribute I will only get this ![]. I don't understand to use it, if I just want to paste a picture here. Is it necessary to upload the picture first into my webspace?

I installed jce editor now. Now it works again. Sp pb is at last very spooky sometimes...

1. By default JCE adds width and height html code to added images.
2. You can speed-up JCE by its settings: Editor Global Configuration > Compress Javascript: Yes, and Compress CSS: Yes > Save & Close. And remove icons that you don't use from toolbar.
3. Besides you can use TinyMCE, with its features. It also allows you to add images to Text.

Both TinyMCE and JCE works with PHP 8.3, that is faster than line PHP 8.0-8.2. Remember to use Gzip Page Compression: Yes - in Joomla Global Configuration as well.
