SP Page Builder 1 year ago

Hello, i updatet SPPagebuilder this morning and after the frontend and backend of our page doesn't work anymore. This is the message i get: Failed opening required '/homepages/22/d634309813/htdocs/bikebarITW/components/com_sppagebuilder/builder/classes/base.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php8.1') I can't even get inside the backend so i can could change or delete extensions to solve the problem.

Update: I loaded a backup, the page is back online for our customers. But how can i do the sppagebuilder update without getting the error again? And i dont know why, but the backend of the sppagbuilder is still broken.

Please have a look.

I added the URL. I fixed the broken backend links of the pagebuilder too by doing a rollback of the sql database. The only thing is: i want to know how to update the pagebuilder without getting the error again. By the way: can i do an upgrade to pagebuilder 5 without problems or do i have to change / rearange my content?

Please take a full site backup with Akeeba Backup in ZIP format and share here. Follow this tutorial. I will check it on my localhost.

Please share the backup in ZIP format. Set the file type as ZIP in Akeeba Backup configuration. Then take the backup and share.

I have fixed your issue on my localhost. Please download this Akeeba Backup (in the hidden content) and install on your server. It has the latest SP Page Builder version. Please follow this tutorial to install the backup.
