I have tried the first 4, none worked

5 & 6 - from within Joomla or in cpanel? I am not finding a place to make these changes in Joomla or in cpanel

You hosting provider can help you. You may need to disable the mod_security or If you use CloudFlare then you need to disable the rocket_loader from the CloudFlare settings .
