White Screen In Backendeditor Backend Editor Takes Too Long

White Screen In Backendeditor I get a white page after trying to edit any page via the button "Edit with Backend Editor". Backend editor takes too long to open the page, often even more than 2 minutes, I can't figure out what it could be

I use:

Joomla! 5.14 PHP Version 8.1.8 Helix Ultimate 2.0.11 SP Page Builder PRO Version 5.3.6

Could someone help me? Thank you.

Would you please update Helix Ultimate and SP Page Builder Pro both to the latest and check again?

However, slowness can be related to your server.

It didn't help. I updated Helix Ultimate and SP Page Builder Pro both but the problem remains

Hi Nick,

It looks like Server settings problem, otherwise all users would that delay.

Start from: https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/technical-requirements

  • PHP: memory_limit: 512M
  • PHP: max_execution_time = 300
  • Set PHP 8.2
  1. Then enable GZip compression in cPanel and in Joomla Global Configuration.
  2. Ask Hosting Support if you can speed-up site using cPanel setting even more.
  3. Use Speed-Up rules inside .htaccess file. Take tips from WordPress blogs.

After you should see a difference.

Sometimes temporray problems are caused by also slow local network (big traffic in War Zone).
