SP Page Builder 1 year ago

hi, i just updated SP PAGE BUILDER PRO to version 5.4.0 and now when i open a page builder in backend i get this message: Unhandled Runtime Error TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'call')

Please open the browser console for more information!

Call Stack l (2:1375151)

4805 (2:6578)

Function.l (2:1375151)

Do you have any useful advice? I can't do any more activities with page builders! Publishing pages in frontend is correct!

(Joomla 5.1.4)

Thanks

Hello, the issue you are running into are related to caching

  • Clear Joomla Cache
  • Clear Browser Cache
  • Check that same site using 2nd (alternative) browser.
  • If you have sort of Server Files cache, clear it in Hosting CPanel setting.
  • Reinstall component, just in case. Then it should be resolved.

Mainly It's a browser cache thing. After clearing the browser cache it will be gone.

You can check this documentation below:

https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/troubleshooting#unhandled-runtime-error-typeerror-undefined-is-not-an-object-evaluating-i-e-call

-Regards.

Hi Mehtaz,

this is what I had done:

1 - cancelled cache Browser Chrome 2 - cancelled cache Joomla 3 - I checked all points from your page Troubleshooting (Problems & Solutions), and everything is as you expected. 4 - I made the first attempt to open my page builder with Chrome and it failed. 5 - I reinstalled SP Page Builder Pro 6 - I made the second attempt to open my page builder with Chrome and it failed. 7 - I made the first attempt to open my page builder with Firefox and the backend publication it' all right.

So I updated my browser Chrome ffolowing this procedure:

To update Google Chrome: Open Chrome on your computer. Click More. at the top right. Click Help. About Google Chrome. Click Update Google Chrome. Important: If you don't see this button, you've already installed the latest version. Click Restart.

8 - I made the third attempt to open my page builder with Chrome and it failed.

I don't understand my Browser Chrome is updated! Why it doesn't work?
