What is The Difference Between Helix Framework & SP Page Builder

Hi there, I was reading the docs and was a bit confused about the difference between the Helix Framework and SP Page Builder because, as I see, the Helix is not just a starting template alone; you can build a full-featured template with the tools provided. So, if Helix can be used to create a template, what purpose does the SP Page Builder have in the context of templates?

on Joomla Extension Directory (JED) you can find advanced news extension that may have even more predefined layouts for Joomla articles.

The very basic difference is :
- Helix Ultimate (and its Framework) - is Joomla template. That you can set as default one.
- SPPB is component with module that allows you to create pages (subpages like Home, About Us, Team, Contact, FAQ) and modules.
It means that SPPB can be used also on Casiopea template or others. Just remember that it works in component area or inside module position. If you have a Joomla basic knowledge you know what I mean.
Maybe watch few videos on youtube, images tells more than words. There are also in Spanish, German etc.

- Joomla 5.2
- Sp Page Builder Pro
- Helix Ultimate template
- Akeeba Backup (just in case)
You can build a whole "small" company or organization website in one weekend, if you have texts and images, and accepted menu structure. More advanced projects request more time & patience ... not necessery more extensions. Onepage site & Landing page - you can create much faster.
For "quick & lazy" projects we have > https://www.joomshaper.com/page-builder/layouts for SPPB, so all you have to do is import, replace text and photos. Easy.
Based on my personal techer experience: Now working with students after few hours, they are able to do more than 10 years ago after a few days of training, I still remember times when there was no SPPB for Joomla, and whole layout was based on modules, articles and manually added CSS. Then it was a time-consuming process, now is not anymore.
