Styling A Table

I have followed the documentation for a table and could get the # of rows and columns with text options in them. However, when I get to 'Header Style Options' I don't have 'Header style options' in my Table Styles although some of the changes do affect the header but theren then is nothing about the rows. I have no way to have even and odd rows different colors. I would like to reduce the white space between rows but the only padding option seems to affect the heading. I have managed to put a border around it. The page can be found at https://ottawaotest.ca/oocj4/component/sppagebuilder/page/26

Am I missing something? I have just updated with the latest SP PageBuilder 5.4.1 with Joomla 5.1.4. I am finding similar problems with other documentation - that it doesn't fit what I am seeing and I can't find the answers. Is there a later set of documentation?

Hello Lorna Guttormson,

Apolozy for the inconvenience. To access all customization options for your table, make sure to select the "Custom" tab under the Table Styles section in SP PageBuilder prnt.sc/mT2GlbAjOnES . This will provide you with additional options.

Thank you Atick but I guess I wasn't clear enough. It was not the tab area of the page I needed help with but the table - top right. I now have a menu item to the page - itottawaotest.ca/oocj4/route-gadget. I don't know how but I managed to get the table rows to be shorter - at least in the edit view. However in the guest view the table is still much taller than I would like. In table style I managed to get it to have alternating coloured rows but the height of the table is much to big - too stretched out. Can you have another look. Here are screen shots of the different views - first when in edit mode, then what you see in the public view. (is there not some easier way to send a sceenshot to you folk?) Maybe you can't even see this as it is from out cpanel. Anyway you can see them directly yourself. https://ottawaoc.ca:2083/cpsess3374194596/frontend/jupiter/filemanager/showfile.html?file=Screenshot+2024-10-29+094707.png&fileop=&dir=%2Fhome%2Fottawaoc%2Fottawaotest.ca%2Foocj4%2Ffiles%2Fscreenshots&dirop=&charset=&file_charset=&baseurl=&basedir= https://ottawaoc.ca:2083/cpsess3374194596/frontend/jupiter/filemanager/showfile.html?file=Screenshot+2024-10-29+094610.png&fileop=&dir=%2Fhome%2Fottawaoc%2Fottawaotest.ca%2Foocj4%2Ffiles%2Fscreenshots&dirop=&charset=&file_charset=&baseurl=&basedir=

I have lightshot but the .png's have to be sent as a URL - which means copying them to a server. Can I not just send the png as I would in an email. Can I send them by email.?

Anyway, I have sent all the site information so you can see the 2 displays for yourself. I am more concerned with getting this question of how to format the row height on a table.

Thank you. That does seem to fix it but can you share with me what it was I was missing or what you have done so I don't have to ask again when I build another table. I don't see any changes to the table settings.

Always add 'px' after numerical values when setting margin or padding. prnt.sc/pERqZD_o-hfi
