After Update, EasyStore Shows The Wrong Price

After updating to Joomla 5.2 and all recent Joomshaper plug-ins, EasyStore is adding sales tax to the unit price before checkout. It is showing two different prices for the same item in different views.

@John Clapps - this is a result of the new tax system in EasyStore. The quickest way to "disable" this is to set the Settings option to "Tax is already included in my prices".

If you want to disable tax completely, you then need to edit each product to untick the "charge tax on this product" checkbox.

The tax is not already incuded in the price. i just want it to work as it did before the update. having an objects price change from screen to screen is not good for customers.

i put the log in in the hidden area

I fixed the database and the site is up and running but with the same problem of tax being added to the product. This needs to be fixed please.

Ofi,

My client alerted me to this issue not being fixed. When I checked your work it displayed the same price on the grid and the single product. But it is the wrong price.

Here is the problem:

On the site ConcreteClassics.com > go to the benches menu. The first product on the grid is Product CC810 Central Park Settee priced at $991.00 BUT it displayes here as $1,053.93

This product shows up in lists and single product as $1,053.93

When I choose the item go into the cart. It displays in my cart as $1,053.93 BUT the should be $991.00 Once I choose check-out the real price is shown of $991.00

We can’t have item prices changing throughout the site. EasyStore looks like it is adding the CT tax to the product listing and product page.

In the settings under “Taxes” the radio button “Tax should be calculated and displayed in the checkout page” is chosen. If I choose “Tax is already included in the price and shipping rate” the correct price is displayed but on checkout the tax is not added. “Display Prices inclusive tax” is not chosen.

Please help. This has been going on for a while now.

Unfortunately, we have identified this issue on our end as well. On Shop page and Product page, price is shown with tax according to your shop location if this option: Tax should be calculated and displayed in the checkout page is selected.

I have talked with the developer team to prioritize the issue. They have also agreed to solve the problem quickly. The tax system will be reviewed and we hope to fix it in the next month. Till then, I would appreciate your patience.

THis is taking a long time and after the latest update it still isnt fixed.

I have a client who's patience is running out. A shopping cart should not display wrong prices ever.

I need to kow a time frame to know if I need to build my site with a different shopping cart.

Help!

Thanks for the follow up. We will start working with these bugs on the latest version. Unfortunately, your issue will take time to fix since it is related with other functionality of the component. So, we have to be careful when fixing this.

I just had a meeting today with the developer team and I have raised your issue. The team has listened to the problem. They will recheck the tax policy and improve it. Hopefully, they will come up with a better solution so that guest users do not see different taxes.

Is this fixed? Or will it be fixed very soon? It has taken toolong for a wrong price to show on all products.

If it will not be fixed how do I get a refund on the subscription? I feel pricing is essential to a shopping cart.
