Strings Template - Paragraphs Not Saved

In ver 1 of Strings, paragraphs could be used in both the Albums and Performers descriptions.
Now in ver 2, whenever paragraphs are composed, the inseted paragraphs are ignored and the whole description is saved as a single paragraph.
Can we correct this please?

The problem is all text fields used to allow html is rel 1 of strings, but in rel 2, they are plain text only and do not allow any html code, inclding videos.

Accepted AnswerI changed the editor to JCE and I have tried TonyMCE,.
Even when I edit the code with HTML and create paragraphs of make text bold, the html code is all stripped out on saving the component item.

Accepted AnswerThe field seems to be a text field that does not accept HTML coding.
The field on release 1 did accept HTML coding.
