SP Page Builder - Failed To Download Package

I have had to manually install the last 3 or 4 versions of SP Page Builder Pro. Is this is known issue?

Apology for the inconvenience. I have checked the update issue. In my case, I can update it from Extension -> Update page. Please update your license key (must be active) on SP Page Builder settings. Then clear the cache and check again.

Thank you for reaching out to us! No need to worry, this isn’t an issue. For some reason, you’ll need to install SP Page Builder manually, such as by using the “Install from Extension” option.

I'm very aware that I can install it manually, I've been doing that for the last several versions. It would be good to know why it's no longer installing from the updates page and have a fix. I maintain 13 Joomla websites and I use a component to install multiple website updates remotely. It's been even more of a hassle to log into each website to install SP Page Builder by file upload because the automatic update no longer works.

Accepted AnswerHi, my license key is up to date. I'm using a custom htaccess file created with Akeeba Admin, I'll disable it and try again. I want to point out other components and plugins work without issue.

Edit 2: It's very sparatic, but sometimes it works when I clear cache and temp files.
