Hello Joomshaper team, I am experiencing a problem after updating SP Page Builder 3.8.10 to version 5.3.2 (5.4.4.) I get the following message: JInstaller: :Install: SQL error Duplicate column name ‘catid’ An error has occurred 0 Failed opening required ‘/home/unikaccesm/www/components/com_sppagebuilder/builder/classes/base.php’ (include_path=‘.:/usr/local/php8.3/lib/php’) Dashboard and then it's impossible to return to the various admin modules... And a small additional detail: the front-end site fell with the message: Page not found! Thanks for your help. Jack

Hello Ziaul, I have just reinstalled the site in dev. I went from Joomla 4.4.9 to 5.2.2 without any problems. However, when I update SP Page Builder (3.8.10 to 5.4.4), on the front side, page not found and on the admin side on the EXtentions page for example : Failed opening required ‘/home/unikaccesm/www/joom5/components/com_sppagebuilder/builder/classes/base.php’ (include_path=‘.:/usr/local/php8.3/lib/php’) Dashboard The information below is in response to your request. Hello DigitM,

To resolve the issue, Please, follow these steps (Before doing this, Please, taking your database backup first.):

Navigated to cPanel -> phpMyAdmin. Select the relevant database. Executed the following SQL operation:

ALTER TABLE `yourDatabaseTablePrefix_sppagebuilder` DROP COLUMN `catid`

Here add your database table prefix in here yourDatabaseTablePrefix, You will found it in your Root Joomla folder -> configuration.php

After this sql operation, Please, Try to reinstall SP Page Builder Pro. Then clear your joomla cache.

1/ the pages are still not displaying properly https://prnt.sc/qL1W0qbT-BOm

2/ impossible to access the admin. I've changed the password via the BDD to MD5 but even with that there's still no access.

From your site, I noticed that your page is currently not selected for fr language. Please Go to french menu from menus, and then click on home page, then select a page for french version home page. You can check english version as well.

Check the screenshots.

Additionally, here is your administrator URL: https://unik-access.com/joom5/administrator/index.php.

At the moment, your admin tools aren’t functioning correctly. Once everything is running smoothly, you can reconfigure them as needed.

I've just realised that on the version of the site you sent me, there are no longer any of the pages I created using SP Page Builder... https://prnt.sc/Ul_Ro3u81M5w Why did you delete them? I have to start from scratch.

I thought that by sending you an akeeba backup archive of the site, you could solve the problem by saving me having to start from scratch...

After installing your backup from scratch again, I reviewed the issues you raised. It seems that the pages you mentioned are not present in this backup.

Please double-check the timing of your backup to ensure it includes all the necessary pages.

Ziaul,

I made a backup of the site, reinstalled it, switched to Joomla 5 and no problem. It's when I update the version of SP Page Builder that everything crashes and I can't even go and see if the SP Page Builder pages are still there.

So, what I suggest if you're ok, I've rebuilt an Akeeba Backup archive with the Joomla 5 site. All you have to do is update the version of SP Page Builder on your side to see how it crashes. If you want to do it on my online version, don't hesitate.
