I am in the midst of upgrading my site from Joomla! 3 to Joomla! 5 and I am seeing that the Font Awesome icons are not showing. Just wondering if this is template related or some sort of mod security issue on the server. Here is my development link and you can see that the icons are showing up as boxes.

Although this template may require more effort :/

OK, found. Somehow your Joomla read path in "crazy" way.

To fix FA icons:

  1. Yes, use my Custom CSS (from guide, just in case).
  2. Using FTP create that "6" subfolder: templates/shaper_news365/fonts/6/
  3. Download : fa-unzip-me.zip
  4. Unzip file.
  5. Using FTP copy-paste all files to new created folder templates/shaper_news365/fonts/6/

Right now, Your Joomla cannot load FA files :/ (error 404)

After all should be OK :]

Hmmm... I added the following code to Custom CSS and the problem remains. Still no icons.

.icon-chevron-left::before, .icon-chevron-right::before, .login .icon-eye::before, .icon-eye-slash::before, [class^="icon-"], [class*=" icon-"] {font-family: "Font Awesome 6 Free" !important; font-weight: bold; }

Uff... I'm glad.

But look down only that one issue left , probably from Rocket plugin / custom script? Old domain.

I just greyclouded the joomla.wrmea.org domain over at Cloudflare and now the syntax error changed. It seems there is an extra < or > somewhere in the code but what do I know?

That code is not from Us. So check in Database, maybe old domain was cached by Joomla. My offcial role ends here.
