Why Doesn’t The Module Title Display In SP Page Builder?

Hi,

I’ve noticed that when I enable the Show Title option in the Joomla module settings, the title doesn’t appear when the module is used within SP Page Builder.

Is this the expected behavior, or am I missing a setting that allows the module title to display in SP Page Builder?

Thank you for your help!

Best regards, Petar

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this oversight.

  1. If you load module then title will not display.
  2. If you load module by position then it will display.

Best regards,

Hi Toufiqur,

Thank you for your explanation!

To clarify, I’ve noticed the following:

If the module is loaded in a template position, the module title displays correctly. If the module is loaded directly in SP Page Builder, the module title does not display. I’m also using Advanced Module Manager, but I’ve disabled it to test this issue, and the behavior remains the same.

Could you confirm if this is the expected behavior or if there’s a way to make the module title appear in SP Page Builder as well?

Thank you for your assistance!

Best regards, Petar

If you need module title then you can use title addon or module addon title. That's it.

The problem is more complex. Why do I want the title from the module itself to display instead of the title from the Joomla module addon?

Sometimes, the module has no content. I use Advanced Module Manager, and when there’s no content, the module is hidden – and the module title is hidden along with it.

However, if I set the title in the module addon settings, the title remains visible even when the module is empty.

That’s why it’s very important for me that the title from the module itself is displayed. How can I solve this issue?

Hi Petar,

Could you confirm if this is the expected behavior

Probably yes, and if you want to have Module title there, you have to put it inside Addon Title field.
