Hi,

Everytime i try to delete dynamic content collection, it shows popup error message

This collection is currently used in one or more pages. To delete this collection, you must first delete all pages that use it as a dynamic content source. Please review your pages and remove any references to this collection before proceeding with deletion.

It doesnt allow me to delete any collection.

Hello Yofie,

Thank you for reaching out. This is not an issue, your file is still in the trashed folder, which is why you’re unable to delete it. Please change the status to “trashed” to view all trashed files. Then, delete any pages related to dynamic content before attempting to delete the collection.

Let me know if there’s anything else I can assist you with.

Thanks!

Hi,

ok i've deleted from trashed, but still another error persist

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near 'AS collection WHERE collection.id = 1' at line 2

Hello,

First, navigate to System → Maintenance → Database and check for any errors related to SP Page Builder. If any errors are found, please update the database structure and try again.

If the issue persists, please provide your admin access in the hidden content section. Additionally, ensure you take a full backup of your site before sharing the details.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Thanks,

Hello,

I have installed Akeeba Backup on your system and performed a test backup on my local PC. Based on my testing, the delete operation for collections is working as expected.

I recommend checking for any ModSecurity or firewall rules that might be preventing the request from being executed. You may also want to reach out to your hosting provider to verify if any security restrictions are in place.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Best regards,

Hello,

We are currently looking into the issue. Please allow us some time to review it thoroughly.

It appears that the problem is related to a delete query on MariaDB. We are investigating the root cause and will update you as soon as we have more details.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
