SP Page Builder Breaks My Sites

SP Page Builder 8 months ago

I have had issues with the latest update of SP Page Builder on multiple occasions and different websites. I have some offline.

I installed the quickstart of the Investa template, and everything worked fine until I updated to the latest version of SP Page Builder, and now I get the error: "Sorry, there was a problem we could not recover from. The server returned a "500 - Whoops, looks like something went wrong."

This has happened on other websites as well, and once it occurs, I have no way to recover it. It is worth mentioning that I can still access the backend.

Apolozy for the inconvenience. The latest version of SP Page Builder requires PHP 8.1 or higher to function correctly. Please update your PHP version to at least 8.1 and check if the issue persists. You may also refer to the documentation for further details on system requirements and compatibility.

Let us know if you need any further assistance.

Thank you for your support, the site is now visible.

Now, it happened on another site where I updated to 8.1 as you mentioned, but the site completely crashed. I can't access either the administrator or the frontend.

When I revert to 7.4, I can access the administrator, but the site is completely down. What can I do in this case?

Please check now. I have updated your PHP version to 8.2 and upgraded SP Page Builder to the latest version, 5.5.2. Kindly verify if everything is working correctly and let me know.

Hello,

The arrow on the right side of the Team Carousel disappeared in SP Page Builder 5.5.2, when I put it back to 5.5.1, the problem was solved. This is a minor bug. I didn't want to open a new topic about it. I figured it would load for those who needed to see it.

Hello,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I apolozy for the inconvenience caused. This issue is indeed a minor bug in SP Page Builder 5.5.2. The good news is that our developers have already addressed it, and the fix will be included in the upcoming update.

If you require an immediate solution, kindly create a new forum post and provide your administrator access details. Please ensure you take a full backup of your site before sharing any access credentials.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Best regards

The thing is, I can easily find the bug, but I don't fix it in the code, because it's better if the developers do it (it may cause problems for others). The next update will fix this small bug.
