Urgent - Error Class "JoomShaper\SPPageBuilder\DynamicContent\Services\CollectionsService" Not Found After Updating To SPPB 5.5.2

Hi,

Since updating to SP Page Builder Pro 5.5.2 I'm getting the following error on the frontend:

Class "JoomShaper\SPPageBuilder\DynamicContent\Services\CollectionsService" not found

And the following error on the backend:

Request failed with status code 500

When I go to System > Maintenance > Database I can also see there's the following errors on the SP Page Builder table:

  • _sppagebuilder_collection_fields' does not exist. (From file 5.5.0.sql.)
  • _sppagebuilder_collection_items' does not exist. (From file 5.5.0.sql.)
  • _sppagebuildercollectionitemvalues' does not exist. (From file 5.5.0.sql.)
  • 57 database changes were checked.
  • 42 database changes did not alter table structure and were skipped.

My website specs are as follows:

  • Joomla 5.1.2
  • PHP 8.3.16
  • MySQL 8.0.36

Looks like lots of user have also had this, but after looking through numerous forum posts I can't see a clear answer.

Please can you investigate and advise as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience. I have taken a backup of your site, replicated it on my local environment, and successfully resolved the issues.

Please restore the attached Akeeba backup file on your existing site to apply the fixes.

This happens with the most current version of SP Page Builder. I have restored the site to the previous version, so the error is no longer appearing. I can update the component again if you would like to test it.

This is happening when we go to the blog page (https://eileencrist.com/index.php/blog). The blog page works fine, but when you click to view one of the blogs the error appears.

Hi Ziaul,

Thanks for investigating this and providing the fixed files.

I've uploaded the Akeeba backup you provided to my web server, however when I was restoring the Database, I got a few errors for SPPB tables (see screenshot in hidden content).

For now, I've skipped the DB restoration, perhaps you can provide an export of the fixed database? Or advise how I can resolve in PHP myAdmin?

It looks like you installed the Akeeba backup file I provided but skipped the database import in phpMyAdmin. So, you need the correct database, right?

Yes that's correct, I need the fixed database.

I had to skip the DB restoration as it kept erroring on the SPPB tables (per my last screenshot) and eventually wouldnt restore.
