Hello, i tried to set up a gallery ... where i also wanted to publish a text information (like alt-text) below the picture.

I learnded, that tis is not possibl inside the Builder Gallery? This is correct?

OK - how to get a result, i tried to use the picture addon ... i can setup a section with 4 colums, load the pictrue and add text ... all fine ... also a lightbox is there.

BUT I the moment i set the dimension of the picture to get a square result, the picture is now disorted. As i want to have the whole picture in the lightbox, i cannot cut to picture with my graphics program to a square ... as the original is more wide. (cinema - or another picture with portrait)

I miss a settig, to "cut" the picture to square without disortion - to see the full picture in lightbox.

One button woul be perfect - or did i not find this - is this possible?

Yes correct. The pictures are not looking correctly, as they are stretched.

Is it possible to solve?

At least, inside Joomshaper there is no really good gallery functionality which fits all requirements. Or is there anythink i need to learn?

Hi Frank,

Good news. In next update (or updates) Images in Gallery addon will get Title/Description field that will be displayed under the image.

Additional - in you screen-pix the text is centered ... it woul great, if it is possible, also to set left-align. Thank you
