SP Simple Portfolio 'Edit With SP Page Builder Front End' Buttons Don't Work For New Items After Update

I have a problem after updating SP Simple Portfolio.

If I go back to the admin backend SP Simple Portfolio / Items and create a new empty item (project) this works. But after the item is created it cannot be edited with the green button 'Edit With SP Page Builder Front End'. The URL value shown at the bottom of Firefox also shows a different value in the new item than in the existing item that can be edited.

URL's

Working existing green button: http://www.r-ubels.nl/joomla/index.php?option=com_sppagebuilder&view=form&tmpl=componenet&layout=edit&extension=com_spsimpleportfolio&extension_view=item&id=8

Not working new green button: http://www.r-ubels.nl/joomla/administrator/index.php?option=com_spsimpleportfolio&view=items#

If I use a URL of a working link and change the ID value to the new item this does work. It seems like something is wrong in the creation of a new item wher it does not create the correct links. The frontend does not give any problems. This works fine.

Could you help me with this?

Aditionally I would like to ask if there is a 'copy' option available for the items. I think ther used to be this option. It would save time in editing.

Thanks for helping. In the hidden content you will recieve the details. I'm working on the Victoy 4 All Highschool Item now. It seems that the preview works, but the real site doesn't show the item properly.

I will be waiting for your reply.

When I first checked the page that was open in my browser in the backoffice view, it seemed to be working. The green button gave me acces to the edit mode.

When i closed all my pages of the site and re-enterd my site www.rubouwdesign.nl, it gaives an error.

So something is still not right. (Joomla is in the errorreporting mode)

Yep, it works! I'm so happy! Thanks alot!

Maybe you have a tip for me.

At the moment I export a template (json) from an existing item. Create a new item and import the template (json) to duplicate the content. Then I change the existing content so may pages look more or less the same.

Is this the best way? I seem to remember that there was a different way to copy items in the past?

Apolozy for the delayed response due to the weekend. Yes, you can use the import/export method to duplicate existing items, which is a valid approach.
