In theory Article addon (if we really talk about that) display what was set inside Custom Fields. It means that all changes must be done inside Custom Fields. If you used "Calendar" field, there is option "Show Time" : Yes/No - use it. Then check used Article what value is used, and keep only date.

If that does not work, maybe by now use typial Text Input field, and put raw date each time. That is also OK in most cases.

Alternatively (for now) you can look for another module that displays article titles and custom fields.
