Bug: Adding An Alt Text To A New Slideshow Item Causes The Frontend Editor To Crash

This post is for Helix Ultimate Version: 2.1.2, SPPB Version: 5.5.4, Joomla Version: 5.2.6, no Template is used.

Hello Joomshaper Support, when I create in the Slideshow Addon a new Slider Item and add an Alt Text to this Slider Item the Frontend Editor chrashes.

The reason is because no Image is present before an Alt Text is written.

SPPB should be so flexible that the Editor does not crash, when a Frontend User is working.

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.

Hello Ziaul, sorry but i cannot. I tested this on my local Webspace with a blank Installation and a life site and the issue happens on both sides. So there is no problem on my end.

Please just follow the steps i described above and you will see the crash of the Frontend Editor.

If necessary i can create a Video.
